Loading the barrel:
Established in 1987, the practice had a superb reputation as residential architects, but their other work remained relatively unknown outside architectural circles, despite a plethora of regular awards. The brief was to raise the company's profile in commercial, health and education sectors.
The colour mix:
Our initial PR campaign centred on the change in personnel and the direction the practice was taking, Using knowledge of, and contacts within, the industry together with extensive media liaison, the next stage was to publicise projects, varying from St Gemma's Hospice to the RSPB Visitor Centre. Regular media coverage coupled with strategic advertising has raised the practice's profile throughout the UK.
The impact:
Nicky Watson, Director, wrote. "We have enjoyed a friendly yet professional relationship with Silver Bullet as our PR and Marketing consultants since March 2003. Their work has focused on the promotion of the practice through the preparation and distribution of press releases with publication of articles about our work frequently appearing in the local, national and specialist trade press. They also advise and manage advertising as well as marketing one-off client focused promotional events.
They have a good understanding of the construction industry, our client base and how are services are or could be procured and quickly acquired a good appreciation of how as a business we work, what is important to us and who we want to promote ourselves to as well as the more technical side of our skills, particularly in the field of sustainable design"
